Event Description
5K:
Join us for a Halloween-themed 5K! Yes, that means we want you to run in your best costume! Runners will start at South Main in Buena Vista. You should be on the lookout for some spooky scenes along the river.
This is a stroller friendly course!
After enjoying a little jaunt around the town trails, you will head to the Finish Line at South Main where we will have a great post race party ready for you!
Kids Fun Run:
Our kids are welcome to romp around South Main for the Fun Run which will take place before the 5K. And yes, costumes are encouraged for the Fun Run! All the young participants will be treated to a special Hallowiener prize.
Online registration will STAY OPEN to race day!
For 2023, we will have Early Bird Registration and Late Registration.
While we love to provide our runners with amazing race swag, we also must keep our cost (and yours) down by ensuring that we are not wasteful with our orders.
At the two week mark, we will not be able to guarantee that you will receive race swag.
Register early and ensure you get the goods!

COURSE REMINDERS
- Strollers ARE allowed on the race course!
- Walkers ARE welcome in all events!
- Dogs are NOT allowed on any race course due to our race insurance. You can bring your furry friends to the Start/Finish Line, but please keep them controlled, at least 20 feet away from the Start/Finish Line, and on a leash at all times.

Participants, friends, and family will be able to enjoy a gourmet brat (or veggie dog) & chips from The Fancy Wiener.
You can opt to have this added on during your registration. Purchase a beverage and spend time having lunch with your crew on the patio. Following the 5K, we will have a costume contest! |

Getting Here
From Johnson Village, CO, head north on Hwy 24 for about 2 miles until the red light at Hwy 24 and Main Street.
From Leadville, CO, head south on Hwy 24 for about 40 miles until the red light at Hwy 24 and Main Street.
From the stoplight at Hwy. 24 & Main Street, head east for about 0.6 miles until the end of East Main Street.
Turn right at the stop sign at South Main Street and follow it towards South Main Square.

Parking is available at South Main for race day.
To find parking, follow the directions for "Getting Here" to come to South Main Square.
There is plenty of parking in the gravel lot behind Black Burro Bikes as well as in the gravel lot just west of South Main Square.
If you decide to try street parking, please be advised: If you block driveways, hydrants, or other areas, your car may be ticketed or towed. We ask that all race day participants please respect the citizens of our town.

All volunteers will receive unique One Love Endurance Events swag (ONLY for volunteers!) as a Thank You for your time and energy. If you've never volunteered, join us! It's so fun!
Volunteer Program - Volunteers that log 3 hours of time at a combo of any of our events will qualify for a free entry for a 5K. This includes any hours that were logged from January 2022 to present day.
