What better way to kick off Thanksgiving than with a family-friendly race around Buena Vista? You’ll enjoy a mostly flat course with well-maintained trails, offering great views of the Collegiate Peaks and the Arkansas River.
Registration is completed online, even on race day. Cards only. Registration may close early if participants caps are met.

Family Fun Run - 10 am
This Family Fun Run is for young participants and their family. Cruise around the town which will take place before the 5K. Young participant finishers will be awarded with a special Turkey Trot medallion! The Family Fun Run is free, but donations to the beneficiary are always welcome!
5K - 10:30 am
Come & shake your trail feather with us on Thanksgiving day! This run is stroller friendly! There may be a few bumpy sections on trail, but overall it's very smooth. Littles who ride along in strollers need not register. We welcome all runners, joggers, and walkers!

Animals & Pets
Dogs are NOT allowed on any race course due to our race insurance.
You can bring your furry friends to the Start/Finish Line, but please keep them controlled,

From Johnson Village, CO, head north on Hwy 24 for about 2 miles until the red light at Hwy 24 and Main Street.
