EVENT DESCRIPTION
Who's going to run the fastest mile in Buena Vista? Don’t want to go fast? No problem! You can stroll it or jog it!
We are joining in the celebration of Buena Vista's Christmas Opening with a family friendly 1 mile run before the holiday parade! Come out in your ugliest holiday sweater as you tour the town on foot. You could win the award for best holiday attire!
This run is stroller friendly! There may be a few bumpy sections on trail, but overall it's very smooth. Littles who ride along in strollers need not register.
We welcome all runners, joggers, and walkers!

REgistration guidelines
If you register and are unable to participate in the event, you have these options:
1 - Let the race director know at least 24 hours in advance if you would like to defer to next year’s event, or
2 - Stay registered and pickup your giveaway during packet pickup, or
3 - Forfeit your giveaway and your registration, considering it a donation.
Packet pickup and registration CLOSES 15 minutes before the race start time.
Registration may close earlier if race meets participant cap.

Toys for Tikes is a program that is sponsored by the Student Council of Buena Vista High School.
This program is dedicated to helping children in Buena Vista have a wonderful holiday at no cost to the parents.
$1 from all registrations will go towards this beneficiary.
Participants can also donate more during registration or on race day.
