Races in Buena Vista:
2 hours = free entry for any 5K
4 hours = free entry for any 10K or Sage Burner 15K
6 hours = free entry for Sage Burner 28K
8 hours = free entry for Sage Burner 50K

Sage Burner Trail Race:
Free entry for any distance of Sage Burner

Volunteer race credit will be given AFTER the volunteer hours are fulfilled.
​Volunteers may "gift" their race credit to a family member for use.

volunteer roles

Hand out/put up posters in the Ark Valley area several weeks before event
Prep event items at least one week before the event
Set up for event
Packet pickup table; Registration table; Merchandise table
Course Marshal (wear an orange vest and stand/sit along the course to ensure runners stay on course)
Fuel station table (help runners with snacks and drinks at a designated location along the course)
Finish line (hand out medals and awards; cheer as runners finish)
Clean up after the event
