Races in Buena Vista:
2 hours = free entry for any 5K
4 hours = free entry for any 10K or Sage Burner 15K
6 hours = free entry for Autumn Run Half Marathon or Sage Burner 28K
8 hours = free entry for Autumn Run Marathon or Sage Burner 50K
Sage Burner Trail Race
Free entry for any distance of Sage Burner
Volunteer race credit will be given AFTER the volunteer hours are fulfilled.
Volunteers may "gift" their race credit to a family member for use.
Volunteer Roles
Hand out/put up posters in the Ark Valley area several weeks before event
Prep event items at least one week before the event
Set up for event
Packet pickup table; Registration table; Merchandise table
Course Marshal (wear an orange vest and stand/sit along the course to ensure runners stay on course)
Fuel station table (help runners with snacks and drinks at a designated location along the course)
Finish line (hand out medals and awards; cheer as runners finish)
Clean up after the event
